Natural Ways To Clean Hair Without Shampoo
Do you suffer from hair problems? If yes, it is time to change the shampoo and conditioner you are presently using.
According to beauty experts, it is stated that 90 percent of men and women suffer from dandruff and hair loss, and the main cause of this problem is using a wrong shampoo.
Experts suggest that if you're suffering from an oily scalp and if it requires for you to wash or rinse your hair every day, skipping the shampoo and conditioner can be ideally the best tip to make use of.
Rinsing your tresses with shampoo every day will only lead to further hair problems and the situation may become a lot more worse when the shampoo is not scalp friendly!
To clean your hair without a shampoo, there are simple remedies that you can follow in order to ward off those unwanted hair problems.
Baking soda should be your first preference. All you need to do is sprinkle 1 tablespoon of baking soda on to your scalp when it is damp.
Massage the baking soda on the scalp and into the roots, and rinse the hair like how you would with a regular shampoo. After 15 minutes of this massage, rinse the hair with apple cider vinegar.
The vinegar balances the alkalinity of the baking soda, removes buildup and residue, and also closes the hair cuticles. So, take a look at some of the other natural ways to clean your hair without using a shampoo:
Peppermint Wash:
In a round bowl, add one cup of water. Boil the water to a medium temperature and add in a handful of peppermint leaves. Allow the leaves to soak in hot water for about 10 minutes. Strain the water and keep the limp leaves aside.
Now, rinse the hair and scalp with the water and using the limp leaves massage the scalp. The juice emitted from the peppermint leaves will help to remove the residue and dirt from the scalp. This is one of the best and most natural ways to clean your hair without a shampoo.
Soda Wash:
Wash your hair with plain soda once in a week to get rid of dandruff. All you need to do is to rinse the scalp and strands with fresh soda. Allow it to dry on the scalp for 6 minutes, before rinsing it well with clean running water.
Rosemary Wash:
Rosemary is a perfect herb to use on the hair. It has a beautiful aroma that can make your hair smell lovely. Crush rosemary leaves and add them to the bath water. Let it soak in the water for 8 minutes and then rinse your hair with the water.
Vinegar Wash:
Vinegar helps to get rid of all the hair problems. It is a one-stop solution for an oily scalp, dandruff and lice. All you need to do is to massage the scalp with some fresh undiluted black vinegar. After 7 minutes into the massage, rinse the hair with cool water and do not use a soap or a shampoo. To give your hair a perfect shine, you can wash your hair with apple cider vinegar.
Yoghurt & Baking Soda:
In a bowl, add 3 tablespoons of fresh cold yoghurt. Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda to the curd and whip the content well to form a thick mixture. Now, apply this mixture on to the hair like a hair mask. After 15 minutes, rinse the hair with clean running water and do not use a shampoo. The baking soda will remove the dirt and the yoghurt will only make your hair shine naturally.
Lemon Oil & Yolk:
Lemon oil will help to get rid of a sweaty and smelly scalp. In a bowl, add the yolk of two eggs and four drops of lemon oil. Now, mix these two contents together and rub it on to the scalp. After 10 minutes, rinse your hair with warm water and do not use a shampoo. In a week's time, your hair will shine naturally and will feel silkier.
Creamy Curd:
Once in a week, it is necessary to pamper your locks with natural remedies. Curd is the perfect conditioner for hair and even has the properties to tame dry and lifeless hair. Apply thick, cold curd to the scalp and after 15 minutes rinse it well without using a shampoo.
