How To Shampoo Your Hair: 10 Steps
You wash hair regularly, but still, are you aware of the right way to shampoo your hair? The way you wash your hair decides the shine and the texture of your hair.
Harmful Effect Of Using Shampoo Everyday
If you do it carelessly, you may even end up damaging your hair strands. Do you know the fact that the best way to use shampoo is to remove the dirt on the scalp? Yes, the scalp must be cleaned first to remove the oil build up and the dirt.
Even if you learn about the best way to shampoo hair, if you are not using a product that is made for your hair type, you are again doing it all wrong. Choose wisely. Dry hair requires products that locks moisture. Talk to your stylist for better options.
Oily hair can be washed daily but dry hair must be washed only twice a week. Some sources say that people with long hair must apply conditioner before applying shampoo. This may help in protecting the ends from drying out. So, this way, there are some hair care aspects that some us might not know.
Now, let us discuss about the best way to shampoo hair.

Step #1
Firstly, wet your hair. Take a few drops of shampoo into your hands. Don't squeeze the shampoo on your hair directly as that would make you unaware of how much shampoo you are using. Warm water clears the dust and the build up on the scalp and the hair; so make your hair wet first.

Step #2
After you take some drops of shampoo into your hands, splash a few drops of water on it and start rubbing your hands to form lather. Then using your fingers, start applying the lather to your scalp. Ensure that you distribute it evenly throughout the area.

Step #3
When you lather up, focus on the scalp more. All the dirt and the oil tend to build up on the scalp. Wash it thoroughly. Use very small amounts of shampoo to wash the ends of your hairs as they tend to dry out.

Step #4
Gently scrub your scalp and spend a few minutes covering each and every area of your head. Your target is to remove the dirt and the oil build-up.

Step #5
When you wash your hair, treat it like a delicate item. If you carelessly scrub your scalp, you may lose hair strands as too much of friction can be too much for your hair to handle.

Step #6
When you scrub your scalp, make it more like a massage so that the blood circulation there can get stimulated and this is healthy for your hair growth. The pressure should be medium.

Step #7
Rinse the shampoo completely without leaving any remnants on your scalp. Use enough water until your scalp is completely clean.

Step #8
Squeeze the water from your hair. Apply the conditioner evenly on your hair after taking a few drops of it on your hands. Use it only on the strands and not on the scalp. Allow it on your hair for 5 minutes. Let your hair absorb it.

Step #9
Close the session by rinsing your hair with cold water. Skin experts say that cold water will again close the strands and make them shiny. Rinse your hair properly to remove the conditioner properly.

Step #10
After shower, use a dry towel to sap the wetness. Don't rub the towel against your hair as it may cause frizzes and may also damage hair. It is better to stay away from dryers.
