Tired Of Dandruffs? Try These Remedies

Dandruff,a very common concern among many people are flakes of dead skin that appear on the scalp. When the skin cells on the scalp are regenerated, the dead cells fall off. For those who suffer from dandruff, the renewal of cells occur much faster than usual. Dandruffs can also occur if the scalp is frequently exposed to extreme temperatures. Dandruff is also known as Scurf.
Dandruff can be detected by spotting white dry flakes of dead skin that appear on the scalp. It could also be seen entangled in the hair or dropping on the clothes. The head may feel itchy and tight. Sometimes extreme dandruff can cause swelling and redness of skin.
Causes
Brushing Hair Regularly: People who do not brush their hair regularly have a higher risk of developing dandruffs. This is because they do not aid the shedding of dead cells from their scalp.
Dry Skin: People with dry scalp are more prone to dandruffs. Exposure to cold breeze and temperatures combined with frequent use of room heaters aggravate the tendency.
Hygiene: Exposure to pollution and dust damages hair and the scalp. Those who fail to wash their hair and take proper care develop dandruffs.
Ill-health: People who are either suffering from some illness or are strong medicines too can develop dandruffs. Those specially with Parkinson's disease and neurological illnesses are more prone to having dandruff. Those who are recovering from heart attacks are also highly prone to it.
Diet: Experts believe those who do not eat a balanced diet and take sufficient vitamins and minerals also have a higher risk of developing dandruff.
