DIY Slimming Body Butter To Tighten Loose Skin

One of the by-products of the fast-paced lives by default we are leading today is that we don't have enough time to take care of our body.

And so the pudgy pooch, rolls of flab and dry flaky skin are all an inevitable part of our lives. What if we say, you can nourish your skin deep, burn fat and tighten skin minus the toxins, all with one cream? Sounds too good to be true? This DIY slimming body butter can do exactly that!

The main ingredients in this DIY slimming body butter are shea butter, coconut oil, ginger oil, pepper oil, geranium essential oil and almond oil.

The main ingredient in this fat burning body butter is shea butter, which is packed with fatty acids that moisturize the skin and promote skin regeneration.

Coconut oil on the other hand has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and antiseptic properties that work to slough off the dead skin cells, protect the skin against free radicals and tighten skin tone.

Ginger oil tends to increase the body's temperature, which in turn dissolves the lymph and fat from the skin tissues.

An interesting ingredient in our homemade body butter is black pepper. Pepper contains piperine that not just cuts body fat, but also prevents mature fat cells from regrouping again.

Almond oil is full of vitamin E, proteins, potassium and zinc, which rejuvenate the skin and give it a supple radiant glow!

The last oil in our DIY slimming body butter is geranium oil, which has rich floral notes, and works to soothe the mind and body.

Ingredients Required
2/3 cup of shea butter
½ cup of coconut oil
10 drops of ginger oil
10 drops of pepper oil
20 drops of almond oil
15 drops of geranium oil

How It Works
In a double boiler, melt shea butter and coconut oil. Keep stirring until there are no lumps. Turn off the flame.
Stir in the ginger oil and pepper oil. Stir until it combines well. In the end add almond and geranium oil.

Place the concoction in the refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes to solidify. Make sure the butter does not harden fully.

Transfer the mixture in a steel bowl and whip until you get a fluffy consistency.

Pour the content in an air tight jar, and place it in a cool dark place. Use as your regular body lotion.

Though effective, this DIY slimming body butter is not for everyone. So, make sure to patch test the butter first for any sign of side effects before you use it regularly.
