Its Time To Quit Your Job: 4 Signs
When you join an organisation, you do not think much about quitting it. All the efforts to last longer in the firm is put just to avoid changing jobs. However, with the passage of time, groupism, politics, lack of interest or for any other reasons, you feel like quitting your job and moving ahead. But, sometimes you get clear signals from the higher management or from within asking you to quit your job. These signals are indirect and are meant for you to observe. Check out the clear signs to know it is time to quit your job.
4 signs it is time to quit your job:
Lack of interest: This is one of the primary reasons that makes you love or hate your job. You join a company when you find interest in it. What when you start losing it and do not feel like going to office anymore? Just take a break and think. If you are really not interested in the same job and want a change, just decide what you want. This will help you plan your life after submitting the resignation letter.
Over-utilization of your goodwill: When you say Yes to every task that is assigned to you, sometimes your greedy boss starts giving you more than you can handle. He/she does it thinking that you are capable enough for taking extra responsibilities. Thus they enforce new projects on you. These are few reasons that increases work pressure and makes you feel like quitting it.
No compliments for hard work: When you work hard and score well in exams, you always expect your mom and dad to compliment you for your hard work. Similarly, when you are working, your efforts should yield some appreciation from the upper management. Even if you have few mistakes, it should not stop your management from appreciating your effort to try at least! Mistakes are done by human beings and it should not be triggered unless harmful. Not complimenting the hard work discourages the employee and it is a clear sign to know that you should quit your job.
Improper behaviour of boss: You are under your boss. Earlier your boss was good with you but then suddenly he/she started behaving rudely. This is a clear sign to know that it is time to quit your job. No one can work in an environment where there are rude people. Happy and peaceful workplace is a dream of every employee!
These are few signs to know that it is time to quit your job. Before putting the resignation letter, make sure you have another job of interest in your pocket. This saves you from being unemployed and also encourages you to try something new!
