Health Risks Of Using Laptops
Laptops have almost replaced desktops completely. They are cheaper, lighter and you can carry them along; so why would anyone in their right mind not want to use laptops. But the convenience aside, you cannot deny that there are many health risks of using laptops. In fact, the use of laptops is leading to many chronic lifestyle disorders. The back pain that techies experience on a daily basis is an example of the health risks of having laptops on laps all the time.
10 ALARMING REASONS FOR TESTICULAR PAIN
The health effects of laptops include pain, stiffness in the muscles, eye strain and also cancer. Laptops are supposed to be kept on the lap as is obvious from the name. The heat produced by this posture is very bad for your skin. And if you are a guy, then this heat will slowly kill your sperms and reduce your fertility.
Back pain due to laptop use is very hard to get rid off. Almost everybody who uses laptops on a daily basis complains of back and neck pain. We cannot stop using laptops but using it at a docking station can solve many of problems associated with it.
Here are some of the worst health risks of using laptops improperly.

Chronic Backache
Unlike the desktop, the laptop is usually held on the lap and we tend to slouch or sit all slumped up when we are using the laptop. This takes a toll on our back and lower backache becomes a chronic problem. In fact, it can also lead to spondylitis.

Infertility
One of the major health risks of using laptops on laps is infertility for men. The heat produced by the working of the laptop damages sperms and the radiations from it affect sperm motility and quality.

Computer Vision Syndrome
When we use the laptop, we tend to look at the screen at much more close quarters than we do for a desktop. And as we bore our eyes into the lap, we can develop the computer vision syndrome. It leads to eye strain, dryness of the eyes and also increases your eye power.

Neckpain
Most people using laptops bend their necks and look into the screen. This leads to stiff neck and a chronic neck pain. This posture problem might again lead to spondylitis, meaning a gap is formed in the vertebrae.

Toasted Skin Syndrome
The heat produced by the laptop held on the lap can lead to discolouration of the skin and also promote many skin diseases.

Cancer
Does your skin itch and get hot when you are holding the laptop on your lap for hours? This could lead to skin cancer over a period of time. The chances might be slim but it is a health risk of using laptops nonetheless.

Twitching Fingers
The keys on the keypad of a laptop are cramped and when you keep using it for hours, the muscles of your fingers might twitch or go numb. This can also lead to frozen finger muscles over a period of time.
