Yoga Poses To Treat Dizziness
Yoga has been practiced for over 5000 years and is known to have numerous health benefits. Yoga brings your mind, body and spirit into a state of unity and is an excellent method for combating stress and relaxing. Yoga helps improve the health of the body through yogic poses called asanas and controlling your breathing.
The health benefits of regularly practicing yoga poses include improved fitness, reduced stress levels and management of chronic diseases. Yoga poses are an excellent way to reduce risk of contracting chronic diseases like blood pressure or heart diseases. Regularly practicing yoga poses will also help in the alleviation of conditions like insomnia, depression, anxiety and pain.
Yoga poses are also beneficial in treating dizziness. Dizziness takes place when one feels lightheaded, disoriented, confused, woozy or giddy. Some people are also known to experience a floating feeling. The common name for this feeling of dizziness is vertigo. A person who experiences vertigo or dizziness will feel like his or her surroundings are spinning around them. Some of the common causes of dizziness are anemia, low blood sugar levels, panic attacks, irregular heartbeats and stress.
