Simple Summer Exercises: Have Fun, Lose Weight

It's summer time and you must be thinking of joining a gym to lose the fat that you were able to hide behind your clothes during winters. You spent your summers thinking the same but you couldn't start as you were always afraid of hard workout sessions. If this is the problem, then lets start with some easy and fun exercises like cycling, swimming and aerobics. You can also join dance classes. Take your near and dear ones with you for dance classes, swimming, cycling and water activities.

Lets have a look at the exercises you can easily do to lose weight this summer:

Walking is the best exercise
Walking is the best exercise. During summers when the scorching sun doesn't allow you to do heavy and hard exercises, walking is the easiest way to loose weight. Go for a morning or evening walk everyday. Walk a little faster than normal. A brisk walk for 30 minutes every day can burn up to 150 calories a day. If you like walking you can increase the distance day by day.

Cycling
If you love to cycle, it is great for you. Cycling everyday keeps your body slim and fit. It is the best way to loose weight and get in shape. If you cycle 2-3 kilometres everyday, you will see the difference in a month. Start riding cycle and cover shorter distances like a kilometre initially and increase it gradually.

Mountain climbing
If you are an adventurous person, mountain climbing is a great exercise for you. Walking on higher terrains put pressure on your fat cells to burst and tone up the calf muscles. Those people who love traveling and adventures can make plans for hiking often. It is a complete exercise for your body to lose weight which also helps you shape up your muscles.

Water activities
Play with water. It is a best summer fitness tip one can follow. Water exercises like swimming, rowing, rafting are great cardiovascular exercises. Swimming alone is a complete exercise for each body part and organ. Aqua aerobics is also a good exercise for summer weight loss.

Aerobics, dancing
It is advised to join dancing classes if you are not able to do other exercises. Vigorous dancing an hour can burn up to 250 calories. It is always suggested to join dance or aerobics classes instead of dancing at home alone. Dancing in a group makes you inspired while watching others and you tend to dance more to loose more calories. So when you want to lose your weight faster go for vigorous aerobic exercises or dancing; shake your booty and get a slimmer body.

Zumba dance
Zumba is a type of aerobic dance. If you go for a 45 minutes zumba dance session you can lose up to 350 calories. This involves dancing which engages a lot of body muscles and tone up abs. You can either join zumba classes with friends or do it at home alone with the help of a DVD. It is always fun to do zumba dance as the music also makes you very energetic and you don't get bored or exhausted while doing it. If you do it everyday it also reduce obesity and relieves stress.
