Though some people tell you consuming raw carrots is good for your eyes and well-being, do not believe them. There are some foods to never consume raw, no matter what. Even if they are naturally filled with nutrients and proteins it is best to grill or boil the food before indulging in it. Raw foods like potatoes, beans and even chicken should also never be consumed raw.

When you consume food that is not cooked, you are taking in a lot of parasites and bacteria which can ruin your digestive system. On the other hand, there are other foods which contain poisons that need to be cooked off over high temperatures.

Chicken
Chicken needs to be cooked to at least 165 degrees in order to remove the bacteria. Consuming raw chicken will only destroy your gut.

Brinjal
Brinjal contains a compound called solanine. The characteristics of solanine poisoning are nuerological and gastrointestinal and the symptoms - vomiting, cramping of the stomach, dizziness and diarrhea. Therefore, one should never consume brinjal raw.

Potatoes
A green hue on a potato may mean a high amount of solanine and the accompanying toxin chaconine which might even kill you. Potatoes that are green in colour should not be eaten raw. It is also better if you avoid those potatoes which have a green tint.

Beans
Beans like hyacinth and lima beans are dangerous foods to consume raw. They contain cyanogenic glycoside which is a toxic amino acid. To remove this toxin from the vegetable it is important for you to soak and grind them before consuming it.

Kidney Beans
Some have the habit of eating kidney beans raw. You should know that this is one of the foods you can not eat raw as it contains a natural toxin called lectin which will leave you nauseous for hours.

Inside Of Fruits
If you crack open seeds and pits from fruits like apples and pears, the inside is soft and appears to be edible. But don't eat it: it contains a chemical called amygdalin which is not good for health.
