Many people say that coffee is not good for your health. Well caffeine poisoning might be the reason behind this saying. Too much of coffee consumption is unhealthy. Caffeine reduce sleep, and also causes dehydration. So, it is advised to have less coffee. However, there are few health benefits of this hot beverage too! Lets find out why you should have coffee.

Coffee is good for heart:
According to many researchers, consumption of coffee in moderate amounts (1-2 cups) per day is healthy for your heart. Coffee prevents heart diseases. Antioxidants in coffee control inflammation in the arteries and improves blood flow. When you drink coffee, your blood pressure and heart rate increases but, in the long run, your levels will be controlled as the antioxidants have nitric acid that improves the flow of blood in vessels.

Cures headache: Having a bad headache? Just have a cup of hot streaming coffee. Add whipped cream to enjoy every sip of this beverage. This is one of the reasons why you should not quit coffee. Whenever you suffer from laziness or headache, have a cup of coffee. When caffeine hits your brain, you will become active and the headache will be under the control. This is because caffeine activates the brain cells and helps you fight laziness too.

Controls sleep: Have to work for late hours but sleep is trying to put you off? Drink 1 cup of hot coffee. Caffeine found in coffee, dark chocolates etc is an ingredient that controls sleep. Your mind becomes more alert after having a cup of coffee. Professionals working on night shifts stay awake only because of coffee. If you do not want to sleep for few hours, have 1 cup of coffee. A cup of coffee controls sleep for 4-7 hours! So, if you want to concentrate on your work or books, drink coffee but not more than 2 cups.

Strengthens memory: Wish to increase your memory power? Have 1-2 cups of coffee every day. Caffeine reduces the risk of Alzheimer and Parkinson as the antioxidants present in coffee improves the functioning of neurotransmitters.

Cures prostate cancer: It is a type of cancer that develops in the prostate (a male reproductive gland). Coffee whether consumed caffeinated or decaffeinated, cures prostate cancer in men. It has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that reduces inflammation in the body. Men should therefore have at least one cup of coffee every day.

These are few reasons why you should not quit coffee. These health benefits of the hot beverage can be really good for your body. But, remember that excessive consumption of anything is bad for health so, limit your intake of coffee.
