Vegetables Omelette: Breakfast Recipe

Eggs have many nutritional benefits that are good for the overall health.

Omelette with vegetables, breakfast recipe:

Vegetables Omelette: Breakfast Recipe

Serves: 1
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • Eggs- 2-3
  • Onion- 1 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato- ½ (finely chopped)
  • Green chillies- 2 (finely chopped)
  • Fava beans- 1 (finely chopped)
  • Black pepper powder- a pinch
  • Red chilli powder- ½ tsp
  • Milk- 1tbsp
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Oil/butter- 1tsp

Procedure

  • Crack the eggs and beat them until they turn pale yellow in colour.
  • Now add all the ingredients namely milk, onions, tomatoes, fava beans, green chillies, salt, black pepper and red chilli powder and whisk to mix.
  • Heat a non-sticky frying pan. Melt butter or heat the oil.
  • When the oil or butter is hot, gently pour the whisked egg into the pan. Spread evenly to let omelette form on the pan. Do not stir or else the omelette will break.
  • Cook on a medium flame for a minute till the omelette is formed.
  • Use a wooden spoon to flip the omelette to the other side. Cook for another 2 minutes.

Omelette with vegetables is ready to eat. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot.
