Halasana: The Plough Pose
Halasana or the Plough pose is one of the popular inverted asanas, like Sirshasana and Sarvangasana. The final pose resembles an Indian Plough and hence the name.
Step 1: Take the position of Sarvangasana
Step 2: supporting the back with your hands, gently start lowering your legs, by bending from the hip joints. Bring your toes to the ground beyond your head.
Step 3: Extend your legs and keep your torso perpendicular to the floor.
Step 4: Release your hands away from your back. Interlock and stretch the arms out behind you on the floor, opposite the legs.
Step 5: To release the pose, bring your hands to your back and lift back to Sarvangasana. Gently roll your back on the ground and rest the legs on the floor.

Precautions:
Those suffering from severe backache, high blood pressure and vertigo must not practice this. Those with neck pain must not practice this
