To those who have conquered doubts and reached the truth,
The heaves are nearer than this earth itself.

The enlightened ones, who have broken through the entanglement of the doubts, delusions and tribulations of this world are nearer the bliss of heaven or final release, than they are to this very earth and its material things.

The Bhagavad Gita would say on this:

'Those men of virtuous deeds, whose sin has come to an end-they, freed from the delusion of the pairs of opposites, worship Me with firm resolve." (Gita 7,28)
