In the eyes of the wise men of the world, the low estate Of a just man is no disgrace.

The man, who treads firmly the path of rectitude and perhaps loses his worldly possessions in consequence, does not lose his status in the discerning estimation of the people that count. For he will be one of God's just men, who have upheld the famous dictum of Lord Mansfield 'Let justice be done though the heavens fall'.

There are many instances of the edifying implementation of this type of justice, among the kings of Tamil Nadu Manuneedhi Cholan and Pandiyan Neduncheliyan, for example but Valluvar envisages such rectitude among the ordinary folk as well, who seek to practise perfection in righteousness as Sanron.
