The right path could be defined as the one, Which secures the virtue of non-killing.
The path of non-killing is the only right path./ the word "Yaathonrum" is comprehensive and includes all lives without exception. Parithiar would read 'Nalaaru as “Nalaar" and give his interpretation in a laboured manner, which is not appropriate.
The idea of path need not be only of a religious path but could very well be a rational one.
