Rama's Grace

At this juncture, one young man with whom I had become acquainted offered me a few books written by Pujya Gurudev and Swami Tapovanam. Since that time, I began to feel that I should write to Gurudev and seek his blessings.
Once fine morning on December 10, 1981, I wrote a letter to Gurudev to his 321st Gita Jnana Yajna at Trichy regarding my problem in uttering Rama Nama. I immediately received a letter from Gurudev advising me to undergo Chinmaya Mission's Lesson Course and then approach him again.
Accordingly, I commenced the study course. By the time I completed the course, the head-breaking sensation that I used to get while uttering Rama Nama had subsided, and I was very happy. I wrote to Gurudev about it, 'Promptly, I received a reply informing me that it was all Rama's grace and he was only a 'Nimitta matram' ( acting as an instrument of the Divine). Now I live peacefully centered in Him, who is in our own heart."
