Awakening To The Spiritual Truth

Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa says that when one is awakened to the realization of the Brahman or the ultimate truth, one clearly sees God in everything. He has nothing to give up and nothing to accept. There is neither good nor bad. Further more it is impossible to be angered as he finds everything as an expression of God.
Sri Ramakrishna illustrates His own words with His own experience. He says once while He was ridding a carriage, he spotted two prostitutes standing on a verandah. The two ladies appeared to Him as none other than the embodiment of Mother Kali Herself. Hence He saluted to them. Further more He states that when He first attained this exalted state, He could not follow with the worship of Mother Kali or make any food offering, immersed in the blissful realization. He was later told by Haladhari and Hriday that the temple officer had abused Him for failing to do His duty in properly performing the pooja for Mother Kali. The master only laughed and was least angry, for it is impossible for such a one, sunk in non duality to react with anger.
By awakening to the spiritual truth, one envisions everything as God and God alone.
