What is the history of Easter eggs?
1. For Christians, eggs are a symbol of resurrection of Christ. For them eggs are not alive but, have a life that will hatch around springtime.
2. During the Lent fasting, eggs are forbidden. Christians celebrate Pancake Day before fasting, in order to finish all eggs and clean their house. Easter brings this poultry product back to their menu.
