Parvati And Rama

The intrigued Mother Parvati asked Lord Shiva for the reason for Him, the almighty to salute Rama, who was an ordinary human being, swayed by emotions. Lord Shiva replied that though Rama was cloaked in a human form, He was the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the omniscient, omnipotent and the omnipresent. The apparent pangs of His suffering was mere playing of His part that He had assumed. He further asked Parvati to testify the fact if she wished to do so.
Mother Parvati in the guise of Sita with the motive to test Rama appeared before Rama. On seeing Parvati, Rama asked as to why she was there and where Lord Shiva was? Mother Parvati was visibly abashed and confessed the motive behind her disguise. Rama the embodiment of the absolute Brahman said, "We are all the aspects of the same Shiva, worshipping Him at sight and remembering Him out of sight"
A story from 'The Ramayana' implying the oneness with Brahman while cast in different moulds.
