The Power Of God

Once when Jesus Christ walked along with His disciples, He came upon a man who was born blind. His disciples asked Him, “Teacher whose sin has caused him to be born blind? Was it his own or his parents'?
Jesus replied, “His blindness has nothing to do with his sins or his parents'. He is blind so that God's power might be seen at work in him. As long as it is day, we must do the work of Him who sent me; night is coming when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light for the world."
After saying so, Jesus spat on the ground and made a little mud with His spittle. He then rubbed the mud in the man's eyes and said, “Go wash your face in the pool of Siloam (the term meant 'Sent'")
The blind man followed the instructions of Jesus and came back with his blindness dispelled.
