One day with emptiness engulfing him, he sat under a tree. Suddenly showers of flowers fell about him.
"We are praising you for your talk on emptiness, whispered the Gods from above"
"I have not spoken of emptiness" Subhuti replied.
"Neither did you speak of emptiness nor did we hear emptiness!" responded the Gods.
Flowers began to shower profusely all over Subhuti.
