Of course my mom was very devoted to God and was by that time used to my adventures and frequent injuries! She must have handed over my welfare to God much earlier. I was to appear for my Final exams in 1965 but fell sick with typhoid fever and missed the exams. I feel that God helped me since I was not really prepared for the exams properly that year and would not have passed with a first class which was the goal set for me. Sai Ram.
I did pass the exam in 1966 securing a first class and acquired the admission to the 'Training School of Atomic Energy Establishment,' Trombay, later renamed as 'Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.' In 1967, I joined Atomic Fuels Division and in 1968 was transferred to Rajasthan 'Atomic Power Project,' Kota. As already mentioned, I was saved from the snakes of desire and addiciton as well as physical snakes while there by Divine Grace. Sai Ram. I joined 'Nuclear Fuel Complex' on 16th November 1971. In 1973, I bought a motorcycle (I was earning well by middle class standards and being the youngest had minimal responsibilities towards the family). Again I felt that I had learnt the riding fairly soon and with that overconfidence, fell several times and that too without any safety helmet etc.
In 1996, when I was taking my first son on a scooter to his college (he was studying Intermediate 2nd year and was preparing fro IIT Entrance etc.), I lost control when I tried to avoid bashing into a dog and we both fell off the scooter on to the hard concrete road. Luckily, we were not much hurt and also there was not much of traffic which spared us from vehicles running over us.Again, I did not suffer any head injury or fractures, though I had a lot of bruises.
My elder brother, who was a very safe driver, met with a fatal accident in 1998 while ridding a scooter when a tanker hit him from behind.
I don't normally remember my dreams unlike many others but a few dreams are too vivid and too meaningful to forget. Let me share them with you, again not to demonstrate my greatness (I am great just as you all are great since we all share the same great origin with Him), but to inspire you to pay attention to the messages that He keeps trying to give you.
