Couples are many but not all qualify to be happy couples. Bearing a happy face at all times does not mean that couples are happy. There could be hidden sorrows.

There are different things that a happy couple does which gives them the mark of being a happy couple. In fact these things are not different it is just their way of doing it that makes the difference.

So what are those things happy couples do in a different way? There are quite a few and if you look closely at them it help you look into your own relationship with a new eye.

We could say that these things do not matter and that each individual is different and hence a different way of approaching situations. But it is precisely this different way that sets them apart.

Solve Problems
Who does not face problems in life? Problems are another name for life but it is the problems solving attitude and approach that sets people apart. When a couple faces a problem they could think and act as two individuals or approach things as a team.

When acting in consensus the magnitude of the problems decreases and looking for a solution then is just a matter of time. Each one stands up for the other and provides the much needed support.

Love
There always has to be love prevalent in a relationship to keep it afloat. But in many cases this love changes to become more of a habit. The couple is not aware of this change of feeling but simply accept the existence of each other together as a way of life.

When a relationship reaches this stage there is lack of feeling for each other. The need to do things for the happiness of the other is lost. Love is not one of those different things that a happy couple does. It is something the couple does not let slip away from life.

Let Go
Not everything happens in life according to plan. Many a times plans fail leading to mistakes. What would you do if your partner made a mistake that caused a great deal of pain? Would you forgive and move on with life or would you hold on to that mistake and remind your partner time and again? It is a matter of personal choice.

If you love your partner then you will have the courage to look past that mistake, let go of ill feelings and move on in life with a smile. You will have the courage to stand by your partner like a pillar of strength and help forget the bad times.

Respect Views
Being a couple does not mean having no personal opinion or view. In a happy relationship both partners are open to each other’s opinions.

They talk things out, hear what the other has to say and pay due respect to each other. There is mutual understanding and no instance of one looking down upon the other.

Manage Children
In many relationships arguments happen over the means and methods of bringing up children. Both partners come from different backgrounds. They have their views of caring for children and when a disagreement occurs there can be chances of arguments.

Things happy couples do in a different way come to a common ground on issues like bringing up children. They together decide on the rules to be followed, the limitations to be set, etc. This way the children also look up to the parents with a healthy attitude.

Share Responsibilities
Managing a home is no joke and doing it single handedly is very difficult. The home belonging to both partners & it becomes a joint responsibility as well.

Depending upon the availability of time for each one happy couples divide work among themselves. This not only makes work easier but also brings about a sense of being a family.

Argue
This might sound quite weird but one of the many different things that a happy couple does is argue. This is not the kind of argument that leads to breakups but the kind that strengthens the love bond even stronger.

It is the type of argument that allows freedom of expressing oneself and being respected for ones views. In such a relationship there exists a deep underlying trust that cannot be shaken.

Take Decisions
Who takes decisions in a family? Is it the man or the woman? In a happy and understanding relationship it is the couple that takes decisions.

Both partners weigh the pros and cons of situations and together come to a conclusion. And if for some reason one partner has to decide things alone the other stands by it.
