Handling On-Again Off-Again Relationships
On-again off-again relationships are becoming extremely common these days. Many celebrity couples end their relationship and then get back together again. Be it Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson or Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, on-again off-again relationship rule the roost these days.
The youth is often confused and not very sure of their feelings. That is why, then end relationships quickly. But later they realise that they still have feelings for each other. So they get back together again. But the relationship is not stable. And it ends up in a breakup again. When this happens frequently, the relationship becomes on-again off-again.
Instead of ending the relationship frequently it is better to avoid breakups. The other option is to end the relationship once and for all. If you are perpetually stuck in a dilemma then your relationship can never be stable. In such cases neither a breakup or a patch up can be taken seriously.
Some simple rules can help you handle on-again off-again relationships very well. Here are some tips.

Avoid Frequent Breakups
If you have broken up more than 4 times in a year, then you are not heading in the right direction. Try to avoid using the term 'breakup' for every minor incident.

Take A Break
If you feel that you cannot sort out your feeling for each other while you are together then take a break from the relationship. Stay out of touch for at least 3 months to check if you miss each other.

Stop Trying To Be Friends
The thing about being 'just friends' after a breakup may not work for everybody. You start as friends and end up dating each other again. So if you want to breakup, then let it be an absolute sheering of all ties.

Rebounds
Sometimes a breakup may make you feel lonely and helpless. These emotions are called the 'rebound'. When you are on the rebound, you will be tempted to go back to your ex. You need to ride out the initial phase after a breakup to be sure of your feelings.

Open Relationships Never Work
Often, couples try the concept of open relationship when they are having too many breakups. But open relationship often lead you astray and confuse you further.

Fights Don't Always Mean Breakup
If you have a fight about which movie to watch this weekend, you cannot end up having a breakup over it. Learn to segregate your real issues from the trivial ones.

Walk Down Memory Lane
Every time you are tempted to call it quits, think of the good times you have had together. Then ask yourself, would it be worth your time to break up again?

End It Once n For All
If you feel that every time you get back together after a break up, your relationship is a little less than it was earlier, then its time to end it. Make sure you have final breakup and never get together after that.

Don't Get Married Hastily
Some couples feel that getting married will end their string of frequent breakups but it is huge mistake. Marriage comes with it own set of problems that will only make living together more difficult. You need to be in a stable relationship before you think about marriage.
