Its your first date and you want it to be 'the' moment of your life. Let go of your shaky nerves and sweaty palms, all you require are a few things in your mind to make your date a success.

They are more competitive and their self-esteem is built on people laughing at their jokes," The Daily Star quoted relationship therapist Andrew Marshall as saying.

He added: "Look at their behaviour in a group, where the man who has centre stage is the alpha male. "There's nothing worse when you're trying to perform than not having your audience's full attention."

Over 21 percent single blokes named phone calls and texting as their pet hate, and is the surest way to put off a man, because he cannot stand the competition. The only consensus for both men and women was regarding personal hygiene it was a big no-no for both of them.
