Ideal husband materials are those whom women term ideal husbands. Women look forward to marriage and a good life after that. Men most times at least in the recent past were reluctant to commit. But in the present scenario more and more men seem eager to tie the knot.

However in this changed world it would be difficult to assume what women look for in men. Though no human being is perfect, both men and women look forward to their ideal dream partners. Let us now see what women call 'Ideal Husband Material.'

Man has taken care of the material needs for centuries. In today's world, women also stand on par with men and offer financial support to their families. However a woman looks at security, both financial and emotional in a relationship and family. Most marital miseries happen due by financial strain and debt.

An investment both in his name as well as her's is a good idea. She will love that. Today's woman seeks enough insurance coverage on cars, home, properties, businesses etc. It is not that she is very materialistic; it is only that she opts for a comfortable lifestyle; after all she too contributes to the family kitty.

We all know how men and women are made, emotionally. Though man is not a Mr. Fix-It, she will expect him to empathize with her troubles. He should lend her, his shoulder to cry on and the warmth for his affection. She does not want him to be judgmental about her actions but wants him to speak his mind to help her take fair decisions.

He should also have the heart and spirit to admit and apologize, when he is wrong and well, he should mean what he says. Since today all lead busy lives, sharing family and home responsibilities on par with her, will get you on top of the list. Knowledge of cooking will be an added advantage.

She would want her man to consider her opinions and thoughts in his decisions. Today's woman is by and large more demanding than her predecessors.
