Veggie Friends For Pre-Schoolers

Having trouble with your pre-schooler while trying to feed them? Well, use your imagination to make the time interesting. Once a little fun added to the feeding time, the children will end up eating more vegetables.
Let us try now! It's time to feed your kid peas that he/she detests. Now, name the peas as 'Power Peas' and wait. Your kid may be curious to taste the new veggie. In the same manner label other vegetables also like X-Ray Vision Carrots, dinosaur broccoli trees, cool cauliflower and Tomato Bursts etc. Cool names may bring the idea of a trendy food to the kid's mind. Giving a food a fun name makes kids think it will be more fun to eat.
As a whole, imagination sparks the appetite of the kids. The only problem in this whole process is that you have to be imaginative and inventive on each day.
The new findings were presented at the annual meeting of the School Nutrition Association in Washington DC.
