Second Pregnancy After C Section Delivery

Earlier in the past, it was believed that if a mother had one c-section, she would never be able to have a vaginal delivery and also once thought that a woman who had a cesarean would only be able to have two children. But the case is totally different and this belief has been proved blunt.
Determining whether you will have a second C-section can be done by comparing the first and second pregnancy stage. If the same issues exist in both the pregnancies then it there might be a proper reason like breech birth, large baby or any other medical reason that existed and still exists with your first child. However, if the reason is temporary than you can try to have a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).
One of the most important considerations for a second pregnancy after C section is the mother"s response towards the surgery. Her past experience and emotions can make her decide whether she is prepared for a cesarean kid or not. It may have been a scary and traumatic experience for her and she may be frightened and doubtful about the second birth.
Pregnant woman as well as the doctor are more cautious during the labor if the woman had a cesarean section before. It is because a very small tear of the scar from your last cesarean during contractions can be dangerous. Medically this complication is known as a uterine rupture.
The guidance from the doctor should be taken before conception to be sure about the decision and know clearly which delivery will be best for you. Check out the previous cesarean delivery notes and other related information on complications before planning second pregnancy.
A second pregnancy after C section is not harmful or scary. If the doctor advices to go ahead and if you also want a next baby then go ahead!
