Let Them Cry- Crying helps a lot in discharging harmful emotions. So just give them a hug and let them cry. See how it gives them relief. It will brighten up the mood of your sad child within no time. They will feel greatly relieved after shedding the heavy tears. Wipe their tears and give them the assurance that no matter what happens, you will always be there for them.
Engage Them- One of the easiest ways to cheer your kid is to engage them in some kind of work. This will divert their attention and elevate the mood of your child who is sad for some reason. Give your sad child some work that is fun to do. For example, you may tell them to paint a picture or give them a puzzle to solve.
Favourite Food- To cheer up kids give them their favourite food. It might be anything. You may give them cakes, chocolates or any thing else that they love to eat. Keep some chocolate bars ready in the refrigerator. Whenever you see your child is in a bad mood go up to them and offer them chocolates or make their favourite dish for them. This will instantly brighten up the mood of your sad child.
Take Them Out- To cheer your kids up, you may take them on a ride or a walk. Take your kids out into the fresh air and buy them an ice cream. When they go out they get distracted by the hustle and bustle of the outer world and forget all their worries. This is one of the best ways to cheer up kids when they are in a bad mood.
