Parents and Children On Health Care This Season

This season is the 'flu season' where many children are effected and thus doctors at the Cincinnati Children"s Hospital Medical Center has offered to help parents and children from the deadly flu season.
Flu can be dangerous as it can leave one hospitalized if the condition worsens and could even result in death. The infection is caused by a number of viruses and the flu season mainly occurs during the winter season or early spring.
The most common way to get rid of flu is to get vaccinated, but at the Cincinnati Children"s Hospital Medical Center the doctors give their advice with the following tips.
1.The flu germs is usually spread through mucus. When a person sneezes the best way to avoid the flu from spreading is to sneeze into a tissue paper. If there is no tissue paper at the time when you sneeze, bend your arm and sneeze or cough into it. Keep in mind not to let the tissue lie next to another person as it can spread easily. Throw it in the dustbin immediately after use.
2.Another important step for parents and children to follow is that when one of you is sick with the flu, never kiss each other near the mouth or on the face as it will spread easily to the other person who is well.
3.The flu season is deadly as it is prone to spreading the virus much quicker during the winter season. So make sure that the infected person washes his hands now and then before placing his hands on to something which is used by many people in the house. It is advisable for to use a hand sanitizer to kill the germs.
4.Another reminder for parents and children is not share the same cloth like a handkerchief of tissue paper for instance. It is advisable to wash the cloth in hot water before use to avoid the flu spreading.
5.One of the best advice is to wash crockery with hot water and soap so that the flu germs is not easily transmitted from one person to another.
These are some tips for parents and children during the flu season to keep the flu germs at bay.
