Brisbane optometrist, Kate Johnson pointed out that kids as young as six sporting glasses due to their indoor lifestyle.
"And it's happening more in children with no family history of myopia. They spend so much more time in close work with computers and reading doing the damage," says Kate Johnson.
Johnson recommend that children need to spend time in the natural environment and stretch their sight to a distance. This enhances the eye sight and also prevent it from many kinds of eye diseases like Myopia . Some time of the day spend outside home is needed to balance the time spent inside the doors.
It is not only looking into the distance that prevents Myopia, but actually being outside in sunlight.
Sunlight causes the release of retinal transmitters in high amounts, for example computer,dopamine,eye care,myopia,video games, and this prevents the eye elongation, which tends to deplete with intense working conditions.
