Teens' Tenderness For Dear Parents!

Most of the teenagers on the present day feel that it is their duty to listen and grant their parents' request for help. They are ready to do the help even when the request is very small. They often do not mind that this request might clash with their personal desires.
The parents of the present day generation strongly feel that it is ok for a teenager to say 'no' if the request clashes with his/her personal desires. However the helping mentality of the teenagers slowly diminishes as they reach the doorsill of youth. This may be due to the increasing conflicts between teens and parents that occur in middle adolescence.
Researchers at the University of Rochester, the University of Missouri-Columbia, and the University of Illinois at Chicago conducted this study.
