Sri Buddha and a beggar

A bright morning. One of disciples came running to Buddha, his face was gloomy.
"What happend child? Why do you look so gloomy? asked Buddha.
"Master there sits a beggar under that tree. Feeling sympathy to him, I advised him few good thoughts. But he doesn't mind me at all."
To know the reason Buddha went to the beggar. At the first sight itself Buddha could understand his condition.
For many days he might not have eaten anything. Seeing the poor man Buddha became very sad.
Buddha asked his disciples to give him some food. The beggar ate his food greedily. After eating the food he refreshed for a while. The beggar was more than happy and thanking Buddha he he walked away after a while.
The disciple was watching all these. He asked Buddha "Master why didn't you advise him anything?
Buddha told him "The poor person was not in need of our advice but he wanted only some food to live. No use advising a hungry person."
The disciple understood his error.
