Your Child Is In Love

As a school going child I shared everything with my parents but; I could never disclose this secret. I thought my parents detested him. Dad always asked me to keep a distance from him. May be he sensed our feelings. However after dating for five years; my love finally walked in with his parents to my home. My parents were surprised. I thought just like any other film story I would be thrown into dark closet and would never be able to meet my beloved. Things weren't the way I imagined, for my parents were happy to know that we were serious and wanted to lead a happy married life. I am engaged to him today. It is unbelievable most of the times. My love of my dreams is my life partner today.
The first thing my mom gifted me after she learnt our relationship was a gospel book on how to lead a family life in team with your partner. Wasn't that sweet?"
This is my real life incident. I have witnessed many such incidents of my own friends who had to either break up or run away from home, as their parents restricted or detested their relationship. That never happened with us, may be because we were still pure in our thoughts and goal or may be even because we were of the same religion and church. Well! The actual reason was that my parents didn't want me to get hurt or cry for the lost love.
