Birth control is one of the most sought after advises from young couples in a relationship. Married or otherwise, contraceptive will always be at the top of their mind to avoid unplanned pregnancy and to some extent prevent STD's. As intimate intercourse is an integral part of any healthy relationship, abstaining from it requires a lot of effort. One can resort to toys in order to avoid direct intercourse with partners or mutual masturbation to bypass actual penetration.
Condoms: These are the most popular form of contraceptive that is easy to obtain and use. It is highly effective with a failure chances very low when used properly with precaution. Most of the pleasures of intimate love can be enjoyed with condoms, making it a popular choice as contraceptive. It is easy to use carry around making it convenient choice available at all times.
Outercourse: It is one method that can be used by men to avoid pregnancy to their partner. It involves most of the love making involved in intercourse except the actual penetration. This prevents chances of pregnancy by 100% as long as certain precautions are taken to avoid accidental penetration or ejaculation around the region.
Withdrawal technique: Also known as ‘pull out' method, is said to have 4% failure rate. It is a technique that involves ejaculating outside the vagina by pulling out or withdrawing at the moment of ejaculation. This prevents sperm from entering to fertilise the egg. There are lots of risks and chances of mishaps in this method.
Vasectomy: Vasectomy is a surgical procedure that cuts, closes, or blocks the 'vas deferens'. Although vasectomy can sometimes be reversed, it is not always possible. Vasectomy, like other sterilization procedures, is considered a permanent form of birth control. It is preferred in extreme cases when the male in picture is certain about not being part of any child birth in future.
Safe period: Tracking period cycle to predict safe periods and abstaining from intercourse during the other fertile period in a monthly menstrual cycle helps in reducing risk of pregnancy. Men can still have sex with their partner during such fertile periods using protection like condom or use withdrawal method.
