How to know the right time to get pregnant?
- The best day to get pregnant is when you notice the most fertile cervical mucus (thick white discharge before ovulation). According to researchers, the cervical mucus helps the sperm survive long and swim easily. So, an intercourse during the heavy secretion of cervical mucus is considered as the best time to get pregnant faster!
- An intercourse 6 days prior to ovulation also helps get pregnant faster. This is the right time to get pregnant so try doing intercourse 3 times in a week during these 6 days time span regardless of the fertility signs.
- According to researchers, abstinence also helps get pregnant faster. This is because the sperm quality and quantity improves even if the abstinence is for 2-3 days. This can be the best time to get pregnant.
- Pain in the lower abdomen or discomfort also signals the right time to get pregnant as it is a clear indication of ovulation. Mild abdominal aches for few minutes or hours signal the best time to get pregnant faster!
- Change in the body temperature after ovulation is also considered as the right time to get pregnant. This rise in body temperature is due to the increase in production of progesterone stimulated by ovulation. The right time to conceive is in the two or three days before the temperature hits increases.
Keep these points in mind to know the right time to conceive.
