Important Vaccinations For Babies
Before the age of 6, every child needs to take a list of important vaccinations to keep them fit and healthy. These vaccinations are especially important to keep certain types of diseases at bay, so that your child does not get affected in the most severe manner. After 2 months from birth, parents should consult their regular child specialists and inquire when their baby requires the first shot of vaccinations.

Hepatitis B
Before your baby is 18-months-old, your little one needs to take three doses of Hepatitis B. The importance of Hepatits B helps to protect your baby from Hepatitis. The acute illness of Hepatitis B is jaundice.

Diphtheria Vaccinations
This is the second most important vaccination your baby needs to take in the 2nd month from its birth. This vaccination for your baby is taken right up to the age of 6 years. The dosage is five in number. It prevents your little one from diphtheria.

HIB vaccination
To prevent your baby from influenza, you need to give the first vaccination at the 2nd month of its birth. Right up to 15 months of age, the vaccination needs to be given. This vaccination helps to keep influenza at bay, and protect your baby.

IPV vaccination
When your baby is in his second month, the first dosage of this vaccination needs to be given. There are four doses for this vaccination which needs to be before the age of 6 years. IPV vaccination helps to prevent polio.

RV vaccination
Rotavirus vaccination is one of the main important vaccinations which need to be given to your child at the age of 2 months. The three doses needs to taken before 6 months. Rotavirus vaccination prevents the baby from diarrhoea which causes a lot of infant deaths.

PCV vaccination
In the second month from birth, the baby needs to take its first dosage. The dosage exceeds up to 15 months from the time of birth. The importance of this vaccination for babies is to prevent the baby from getting pneumonia.

Flu Vaccination
Being one of the most important vaccination for babies. The flu vaccination needs to be taken right through the year till your baby reaches 6 years of age. It helps to prevent your baby from catching all deadly flus.

MMR vaccination
To prevent measles and mumps, the MMR vaccination for babies is given when the child is 15-months-old. The second dosage is given before the age of 6 years.

Varicella vaccination
Another important vaccination for babies which is given at the 15th month after birth. This is an important vaccination which helps to prevent chickenpox.

HepA vaccination
From the 15 to 24 months, the baby needs to be given 2 doses of this vaccination. The HepA vaccination prevents your child from Hepatitis A which is related to influenza, jaundice and diarrhoea.
