The Lawrence Bishnoi gang continues to spread fear in Canada after claiming responsibility for two major crimes. The group said it was behind the killing of an Indian-origin industrialist in Abbotsford and a shooting incident outside the home of a Punjabi singer.

Industrialist Shot Dead in Abbotsford

Gang member Goldie Dhillon posted on social media that the group was responsible for the murder of industrialist Darshan Singh Sahasi.

According to Dhillon, Sahasi, 68, "was involved in a big drug business" and had allegedly refused to pay the gang money. "Upon not receiving money, the gang killed him," Dhillon wrote.

Reports say Sahasi was shot outside his home in Abbotsford, British Columbia, on Monday morning. Early investigation suggests that the shooter had been waiting for Sahasi to approach his car, which was parked near his house. As soon as he entered the vehicle, the gunman opened fire and escaped.

When police arrived, Sahasi was found critically injured. Emergency teams tried to revive him, but he did not survive. Following the incident, three nearby schools were placed under lockdown as a safety precaution, though no students were harmed.

From Immigrant to Business Leader

Darshan Singh Sahasi served as the president of Canam International, a well-known textile recycling company. He had moved to Canada in 1991 and began his career with small jobs before taking over a struggling textile recycling unit. Over time, he turned it into a successful global enterprise.

Sahasi was not only a respected businessman but also known for his charitable work. His death has shocked the Punjabi community in Abbotsford and across Canada. Several community members have called this killing a serious threat to the safety of Indian immigrants and urged authorities to take strict action.

Bishnoi Gang Targets Punjabi Singer's Home

In another violent act, the Bishnoi gang opened fire outside the house of Punjabi singer Channi Nattan.

Goldie Dhillon stated online that the firing occurred because Nattan was getting close to singer Sardar Khera. He wrote that the gang had no personal issue with Nattan but added a warning that "any singer who works with Khera will be responsible for their own loss."

The Growing Network of the Bishnoi Gang

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been declared a terrorist organization in Canada. It is reportedly linked to more than 700 shooters operating across several countries.

The gang has been involved in multiple high-profile crimes, including the murder of rapper and politician Sidhu Moosewala, issuing threats to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, and suspected ties with pro-Khalistan networks.

The recent incidents in Canada have raised alarm about the gang's growing international presence and its attempts to expand operations beyond India.
