Believe it or not, Aakhri Pasta wasn't cooked up out of thin air. Chunky Pandey drew inspiration from none other than the Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan. The character's name was a nod to Amitabh's "Aakhri Raasta" (1986). Talk about a star-studded pasta pot!
2. IIFA's pasta-parcel to Chunky Panday
Aakhri Pasta left such a lasting impression that the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) paid a grand salute to Chunky Panday's iconic character. It seems like Aakhri Pasta's quirkiness knows no bounds.

Here's a twist in the pasta tale! Originally, Sajid Khan, the director of Housefull, was supposed to play Aakhri Pasta himself. However, fate had other plans. At a party, Sajid had a "pasta-chat" with Chunky Pandey and offered him the role. The rest is history. Chunky took the spaghetti baton and ran with it!
