UK07 Rider Case: What Happened Between Anurag Dobhal And His Wife's Cousin In Dehradun

A fight on Dehradun's Haridwar Bypass Road has put YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, better known as UK07 Rider, back at the centre of a family dispute that has played out in public for months. Dobhal, who rose to wider fame on Bigg Boss 17, has been booked and arrested along with three others after his wife's cousin, Raj Singh Chauhan, alleged that he was assaulted. Dobhal has denied the allegations and says he was the one attacked first.

What Police Say Happened On Monday Night

According to Dehradun Police, the control room received information at around 10 pm on 5 October that young men were fighting near a Nexa showroom on Haridwar Bypass Road. A team from Nehru Colony police station reached the spot, and the people involved were taken to a nearby outpost to stop the situation getting worse.

Dehradun SSP Pramendra Dobhal said officers allegedly found Anurag Dobhal and his associates assaulting Raj Singh Chauhan, who is reportedly the cousin of Dobhal's wife.

Police say tempers did not cool at the outpost. They allege that Dobhal and the others again became aggressive during discussions there, drawing a crowd and prompting additional personnel to be called in. The four men were then arrested under Section 170 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, with police citing the need to maintain law and order.

The Complaint By Raj Singh Chauhan

Following Chauhan's complaint, a case was registered at Nehru Colony police station, with reports mentioning charges including attempted murder, wrongful restraint, assault and criminal intimidation.

In his account, Chauhan alleges that Dobhal grabbed him by the neck and tried to make him unlock his phone, and that men described as bouncers beat him when it stayed locked. He also alleges threats, including a claim that Dobhal said he had committed two murders, and that he was threatened with a knife and a gun. Chauhan was sent for a medical examination.

These are allegations. Nothing has been proved in court.

Anurag Dobhal's Side

Reports say Dobhal had called Chauhan to discuss a family matter, which turned into an argument and then a physical altercation. One report notes that what led to the confrontation has not been independently established.

The two versions differ sharply. Police have yet to share findings beyond the arrests.

Ritika Chauhan Speaks Out

Dobhal's estranged wife, Ritika Chauhan, responded on social media. She shared videos and a medical report, and posted photographs of people she says took part in the attack. She alleged that Dobhal, along with 20 to 30 men, picked up her cousin, pulled him into a car and attacked him. She also claimed Dobhal had attacked her and her family before, and said she feared he could do so again.

A Row Long Played Out In Public

Dobhal married Ritika Chauhan, a social media influencer, on 30 April 2025, and reports say his parents placed a newspaper notice that year disowning both of them.

In March 2026, Dobhal posted a two-hour YouTube video titled The Last Message, in which, visibly distressed, he alleged mental harassment and said he had asked his lawyer to take action. Days later he was seriously hurt in a road accident that some reports described as a suicide attempt, and his manager said he was admitted to hospital on 8 March.

What Happens Next In The Anurag Dobhal Case

The investigation will have to decide which account the evidence supports. The reports reviewed do not mention a bail hearing or court order at the time of writing, and the police have not announced further findings. Ritika's posts continue to draw heavy attention online.
