But, the beautiful 25-year-old bride from Jilin City , China, Lin Rong had a totally different line when she walked down the aisle to the man of her dreams. The bride, Lin Rong surprised her guests when she came in looking all white in her 2,162 meters long wedding dress. Known as the longest wedding dress in history, this bride, Lin Rong's outfit was made by her to be husband's family.

Handmade from the groom's family which took about four months to complete this longest wedding dress. This elegant longest wedding dress in the world looked splendid because Lin Rong's fiance, Zhao Peng wanted his wedding to be perfect and it sure indeed was when his bride walked in to marry him. The 28-year-old Zhao Peng had a special significance behind this longest wedding dress. He made sure to decorate the longest wedding dress with 608 crystals which resembled the number of dates he and his bride Lin Rong went on and 9,999 roses pinned to the dress which resembles his love for her.

This beautiful wedding dress which adorned his pretty wife entered the Guinness World record as it was something that no one ever dreamt of. The effort that was put in by Zhao Peng and his family in making of the longest dress in the world costed him about ,856.
