A Luxurious Pen To Cherish

The designer William Penn in Mumbai has launched a range of well-designed luxurious pens with gold and silver finish with some of them carrying the images of deities on them. These special pens, crafted by foreign designers are available in the price range of Rs.20, 000 to 900,000.
The major attractive designs on the pens are evolved from different parts of the world. Different ancient images such as ancient Arabic design, Lord Ganesha and Buddha are engrossed on the pens and the popular designs on these pens.
Most of these pens are handcrafted and that's what makes them so expensive. Apart from regular pens, William Penn also introduces feather made pens with a nip and feather of a bird. These are fine writing instruments and show blend of modern technology and art. A fine writing instrument of this type could upwards of 1,000 rupees.
William Penn started up with his first in Forum Mall, Bangalore in 2001. They were retailing 10 premium brands of pens at that time. At present they retail over 15 brands of writing instruments along with some very unique desktop accessories. According to estimates, there is a 500 billion rupees market for pens against Rs 1.5 billion pen market of India.
