12 Reasons Why No Indian Can Miss The ICC World Cup 2015
We Indians are a nation known for our craze towards cricket. Here it isn't a game at all, it's a religion. Every kid is born with a bat in his hand. We won the most prestigious event for a cricketing event twice. In 1983 Kapil Dev lead the then Indian team to victory the whole country erupted with joy. After nearly 28 years in 2011, Mahendra Singh Dhoni lead a team of underdogs to victory against all odds. The 2011 event particularly left us with a emotional high, as it was the first time Sachin Tendulkar was part of a World Cup winning team.
Why Cricket Is India's Religion?
So, in 2015 we go to the Australian continent to fight it out down under. The Indian team is relatively inexperienced and seems like the underdogs even this time. But other teams know what MSD is capable of and they aren't going to take us lightly, especially after the last time.
It is as exciting as ever but still if you do have some other plans, we are here to convince you otherwise. Read on as we list out a few reasons why you shouldn't miss the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

No Tendulkar
This will be the first World Cup India plays after Sachin's retirement. Sachin began his World Cup career against England back in 1992. The cricket World Cup 2015 will hence be an exciting challenge for the relatively young Indian team.

Expectations
Indians have huge expectations as always. This time it is even higher, as we won the last time around in 2011. But the ICC World Cup 2015 will be full of surprises, we suspect. Hopefully, not nasty ones!

Final World Cup For Greats
As always it will be the last time we see some of the greats of modern cricket play. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Kumara Sangakkara, Misbah-ul-Haq and Mahela Jayawardene could possibly be playing their last World Cup.

Recent Performance
After the debacle in the recent Test and ODI series people will be keen to see how India performs in the mega event. India even lost one of the practice matches and that's not at all comforting.

Minnows Uprising
With the warm up matches springing quite a few surprises, the minnows have announced their arrival as well. Zimbabwe beating Sri Lanka is something you don't see every day. New Zealand's huge win against South Africa has made the other teams sit up and take notice.

India vs Pakistan
The biggest draw of any cricket series is a match between longtime rivals, India and Pakistan. The ensuing cricket World Cup is no different. On February 15th the teams come face to face for the sixth time. India has won all five times.

New Faces
India enters this tournament with a whole lot of new faces who have never played on such a huge platform before. Will they perform well or crumble under pressure? That's another why no Indian can miss the ICC World Cup 2015.

Bogged By Injuries
The Indian World Cup squad has one too many injury woes and that can be a matter of great concern. It will be worth a watch as to know who gets to play and how the players perform under pressure.

MSD
The captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is said to have lost his Midas Touch and it would be exciting to see how he brings it back. For a cracker of an event, we hope he gets back into form.

Amitabh Bachchan
For all the filmy buffs out there, Amitabh Bachchan will be heard commentating during the India-Pakistan match. Need any more reasons for watching the match? We thought so!

Cricket Is A Religion
Cricket is not a sport. It's a religion that unites one and all. The cricket World Cup 2015 wont be any different. What more reason do you want to switch on the television and enjoy the sporting extravaganza?

Weekend Factor
Finally, most of India's matches have been for the weekend. Ain't that wickedly awesome? So, grab some grub and drink, relax on the couch and cheer for the MEN IN BLUE.
We wish the Men In Blue great success!
