There are many people who are narcissists. Both men and women can be narcissists, which is a personality disorder. Now let us first explain what the word 'narcissist' means. A narcissist in simple words is a person who is in love with himself/herself. In short, it is the basic admiration or love towards oneself.

Signs You Are A Narcissist:
React To Criticism: A narcissist doesn't like taking feedback from people. As they are egoist, narcissists tend to react negatively to criticism. Narcissists take criticism and feedback very seriously and assume or interpret it negatively.
Defensive: It is another sign to know that you are a narcissist. They are defensive in nature so as to protect their omnipresent and fragile ego. If you say anything that questions their competence, and the person tries to defend and take it very seriously, then it is a sign of narcissism.
On His/Her Terms: Even if you try to take the person follow and run according to your terms, he/she will only do things that they feel is correct. A narcissist does everything as per his/her own terms. So, its no use of forcing decisions or feeling bad if you stand unheard!
Not Dependable: This is one of the most common signs to know that you are a narcissist. A narcissist is too preoccupied with himself/herself to be there for anyone. It is a common trait of a narcissist that you need to observe.
Selfish: This is one of the harsh signs of a narcissist. They promise to be with you , but when you need them and during your difficult times, a narcissist will never turn up. So, the words of a narcissist might be charming, but fake as they are selfish.
