Women's Day With A Difference In India

Since then women, which was taken as the weaker sex began it's journey to freedom, success and achievement. From 1910 to 2011, women have grown up to be multi-tasking and winners in every profession. Be it academics, politics, acting, astronomy, factories, women have brought about a difference in every field. In India to make the Women's Day special, Air India has announced a all women crew flight.
Air India has always provided equal opportunities to women and to mark the social occasion of Women day 2011, Air India will flag off the all women crew flight AI 187 on the Delhi-Toronto sector. The flight AI 187 will be the first one it's kind with 13 all women crew. All women crew flights from Air India will be operated for both domestic and international networks.
For all women crew flight AI 187 on the Delhi-Toronto sector, Capt. Rashmi Miranda is the Commander, Capt. Sunita Narula is the First Officer, Ms Harpreet A Singh is the Line Observation Safety Audit and the flight will be dispatched by Ms. Rashmi Verma.
On this Women's Day 2011, Air India in it's own special way salutes the success of women in sector of airways and has 5,300 women employees.
