Spearheaded by Aloro"s very own Chef Sergio, some of the authentic delicacies that he has chosen include Mozerella Arusto Con Crudo, Pasta E Ceci, Pizza Matta Rello and Buggie, Castagniole, Bigne Di San Giuseppe. “The reason we choose the masked- theme (Italian Carnival theme) was to ignite a sense of real Italy. With each mask representing a different character from the traditional days of carnivals, we wanted to keep up with the tradition of wearing masks for carnivals." Chef Sergio further added, “Preparing Italian carnival dishes are similar to a work of art. It is all about bringing together exotic favors and fresh ingredients into one fine presentation."

Sharing his thoughts on the origin of Food Festivals at Crowne Plaza hotel, Shaun Langdon, General Manager – Crowne Plaza hotel Bengaluru Electronics City and Regional General Manager for India, IHG said, “When we initiated our first food festival, our intention was to cater to the needs of the local audiences and create a place for people to meet. Today one year later, we have received tremendous feedback from our guests, to the extent that, on a typical afternoon during the food festivals, the restaurants are flooded with our guests and the kitchens are in a flurry of activities."
