Eunice Bowman, 111, the oldest person of UK, has made it to the record books. She has revealed that honey is the secret behind her long healthy life.

Eunice Bowman says, “I"ve had a simple life but I"ve had some great memories. It"s the honey that keeps me going."

Born in the year 1898, Eunice has seen six monarchs on the throne and 22 prime ministers in her life time.

Eunice is mother to six children, has 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Her grandson John Berry, 45, said: “She always has a smile on her face." She is 111 years old but still is active and happy.

She has no wish to retire from life. She is enjoying every bit of it ans more so because now she is famous. She is also very lucky to have company of her family.
