Take heart, as a new survey has shown that women feel more attractive at 32. It is not just about looking good on the outside but coupled with it, the blossoming from within as well that accounted for a sound personality.

The survey that was conducted with 1,500 Brit women aged between 40 and 60 said that their life had the perfect flavour of a good blend of surging confidence achieved directly from the experiences of life, an active love life and the involvement in eating and drinking sensibly according to the 'Telegraph'.

A psychologist by vocation, Dr Sandra Wheatley, told the Daily Mail that the survey's results were "really encouraging" and showed that women valued life achievements as well as youthful looks.

She told the newspaper: "It sounds to me like women are becoming much more swayed by personality. It's a sign that we are valued for who we are and what we are capable of, not just what is on the surface.Feeling beautiful is tied in with confidence and life experience. At 32, a woman has been through and survived more experiences and achieved more than at 22 women can be their own worst enemy, scrutinising each other's weight and wrinkles. But this is a really encouraging study that beauty is more than skin deep."
