Chennai Marathon on Aug 31
In a bid to encourage sports, 'Chennai Tamizh Maiyyam' and 'Give Life' will jointly organise 'Chennai Marathon' on August 31.
Talking to newspersons here today, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) Legislator Ravikumar said both men and women aged above 16 years could take part in the 21.94 km half marathon. The winners would get Rs ten lakh each, he said and added Union Sports Minister M S Gill would give away the prizes.
