It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 18 - August 18

The long-running American comedy returned with its 18th season on August 18. The series continues to follow the dysfunctional group of friends at Paddy's Pub and their often chaotic attempts to navigate everyday life.

Lanterns - August 17

DC's highly anticipated superhero series "Lanterns" premiered on JioHotstar on August 17. Starring Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart, the series follows the two Green Lanterns as they investigate a murder in rural America that leads them towards a larger conspiracy.

Jana Nayagan - August 21

Thalapathy Vijay's "Jana Nayagan" is among the week's most anticipated South Indian OTT releases. Directed by H. Vinoth, the Tamil political action drama stars CM Vijay alongside Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Priyamani and Mamitha Baiju.

The film premieres on ZEE5 on August 21 in multiple South Indian languages. It also holds particular significance as Vijay's final film as an actor before he entered full-time politics and became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The film is now being released as he continues to serve as the state's CM.

The Tamil romantic family entertainer "Pyaar Prema Kalyanam" premieres on Netflix on August 21. The film stars Elan and Saanve Megghana, with Radikaa Sarathkumar and Yogi Babu also appearing in the cast.

It will be available in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, making it accessible to viewers across several Indian-language markets.

Facing El Chapo - August 21

"Facing El Chapo" arrives on Netflix on August 21. The documentary/thriller explores the dangerous world surrounding Mexican drug lord Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán.
